This program is part of OSHA’s Outreach Training initiative, tailored specifically for the construction sector. It is designed to promote understanding of safety protocols as outlined in OSHA standards for construction and focuses on enhancing safety on construction sites.
In this course, you will learn practical strategies to minimize risks and prevent injuries. Topics include an introduction to OSHA, fall protection, electrocution hazards, struck-by hazards, caught-in/between hazards, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
The course also covers key construction-specific safety practices, such as proper material handling, the safe use of hand and power tools, managing health hazards in construction, and scaffold safety.
Our virtual instructor led training (VILT) OSHA 10 Construction course is meticulously structured to cover all critical aspects of workplace safety for the construction industry. The interactive sessions, led by our OSHA-authorized experienced instructors, not only introduce you to the fundamentals of occupational health and safety but also delve into specialized content tailored to construction practices.

Exam, Pass Rates and DOL Card
- A desktop, or laptop computer with keyboard must be used to access our Virtual Instructor-Led Training courses (Chromebooks, smart phones and tablets are not compatible).
- Devices must have keyboard, audio and video camera capability to allow the student to communicate through written, verbal and non-verbal communications.
- Students must share government issued ID through visual confirmation.
- Students must have uninterrupted internet or Wi-Fi access for the entirety of the course
This is a LIVE instructor led course over two days and participants are required to attend both days and modules in order to pass the course. Participants shall be physically present in front of a camera that is on for the duration of the entire course to ensure validity of the participant.
Participants will receive an official DOL card in the mail to their desired address within 21 days of the course completion date. Participants will receive an OSHA 10-Hour Construction course completion card (PDF) immediately after successfully completing the course.
All course participants must complete the full course to receive a valid U.S. DOL OSHA 10-Hour Card. Participants must achieve a minimum score of 70% on the course final exam.
