Respiratory Protection Overview:

In this online Respiratory Protection E-Learning course, we’ll discuss the different types of workplace respiratory protection, how to select the right type for the job and the limitations of respirators. We’ll also talk about using respiratory protection to reduce your risk of exposure, along with maintenance, storage, and recordkeeping issues.

This online Respiratory Protection course will look at the activities that are most likely to be affected by airborne contamination and the responsibilities under Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. The online Respiratory course will also go through the Hierarchy of Controls and the Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

The E-Learning Respiratory Protection course will introduce the various types of air-purifying respirators (APRs), when they are not suitable and explain the importance of Permissible Exposure Limits (PELs).

The online Respiratory course will discuss the main types of atmosphere-supplying respirator (ASR) and discuss the Criteria for Grade D compressed air.

The importance of facepieces and their role in both air-purifying respirators and atmosphere-supplying respirator systems will be taught in this E-Learning Respiratory Protection course. You’ll also learn about the importance of negative and positive air pressures and how to conduct fit checks.

The online course on Respiratory Protection will look at the labeling of respirator filters, cartridges, and canisters, end-of-service-life indicators (ESLIs), and cartridge change-out schedules.

The course will highlight the key considerations when selecting respirators and PEP.

The online Respiratory Protection course will show you the correct way to wear and use a respirator, and will highlight the importance of maintenance, inspection, cleaning, and storage. We’ll then look at the OSHA standards for recordkeeping.
