This online Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) E-Learning course provides an overview of Lockout/tagout (LOTO) – the safety practices and procedures that ensure dangerous machines are properly shut off during service, repair or maintenance.

The online LOTO course will start by defining the key components of LOTO, including energy isolation devices, lockout devices, and the tagout procedure.

You’ll be presented with accident statistics from OSHA that clearly show why LOTO is so important for worker safety.

The online LOTO E-Learning course will describe the key benefits of LOTO for the workforce, management and companies.

Hazardous energies will be highlighted and you’ll learn how energy can exist as primary, residual, or stored energy.

The E-Learning LOTO course will explain the LOTO standards and examine the roles of managers, supervisors, outside contractors, and all employees.

As employee training is a vital component of the LOTO procedure, this online LOTO course will cover the key elements, including re-training and LOTO training assessments.

TSS Facilities Ltd is a facilities management company based in Hove, Sussex. The company has been trading for 47 years and covers four main disciplines - commercial heating, electrical, air conditioning and legionella. TSS Facilities holds maintenance contracts with universities, schools, hotels and local authorities.

‘Before we started using VideoTile,’ says Water Treatment Director, Steve Tugwell, ‘we offered classroom-based training which was only suitable for large groups. But, now, training is available as a mix of classroom training and VideoTile courses for everyone - right down to single people at separate or remote sites. Typically, we train premises managers, people in charge of office blocks, caretakers, and client staff who handle maintenance and need to be aware of other issues that could affect their role.’

The company also uses classroom training and VideoTile e-learning courses to explain large complex reports, such as Legionella risk assessments.
